This USB drive is the receiver that we must connect to the computer.
1. Beneath the main module of your mobile unit, locate the USB transmitter for the faulty keyboard remote.
2. Disconnect the old transmitter and replace it with the USB receiver from the new keyboard remote.
3. Once connected, the new keyboard remote should function within seconds if the battery is fully charged.
Some mobile units include a USB extension cable beneath the main module to improve the transmitter’s signal. Do not remove this cable.
1. Using a ladder, lifting platform, or scaffolding, access the sound and light module.
2. Locate the transmitter beneath the light module, accessible through the mesh of one of the moving lights.
You do not need to open the module.
3. Disconnect the old transmitter from the USB extension cable visible through the mesh.
4. Connect the new USB transmitter from the keyboard remote to the same extension cable.
5. Once connected, the new keyboard remote should function within seconds if the battery is fully charged.
If the keyboard remote does not connect, follow these steps to re-establish the connection:
1. Disconnect the USB receiver from the computer.
2. Turn off the keyboard remote.
3. On the remote, press and hold F1.
4. While holding F1, turn the remote back on and release F1 immediately.
The third light on the remote should blink rapidly in orange.
5. Reconnect the USB receiver to the computer.
The orange light should stop blinking, leaving only the blue light on, indicating a successful connection.
