Best Practices

1. Starting Lü:

  • Turn on the projector and the remote keyboard remote.
  • Wake up your Lü by pressing any key on the keyboard remote to start using it.

2. Troubleshooting:

  • If something is wrong with the system, restart the computer first.
  • In the Lü settings, scroll to the bottom of the settings menu and click the “restart” button.

3. Maximizing Your Lü Experience:

  • Use your Lü account to access exclusive apps if you are a Lü+ member.
  • Lü+ apps are identified by a Lü+ banner and are not available in guest mode.

4. Shutting Down Lü:

  • When done using Lü for the day, turn off the lights, projector, and keyboard remote.
  • Lights will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity if you've forgotten them.
  • Press F1 or select the lamp icon from the left panel to manually turn the lights on or off.

5. Controlling Volume:

  • Use the V+ & V- buttons on the keyboard remote to control the volume.
  • Lü settings allow you to enable/disable music and sound effects.
  • Adjust the projector volume with the remote; keep it at 18.
  • Ensure all volume controls are correctly set if the sound isn’t working.

6. Charging Devices:

  • Charge the microphone and keyboard remote at least once a day to avoid any inconvenience.

7. Using the Projector Remote:

  • The sensor for the projector remote is located in front of the projector. Refer to the illustration for the best remote positions.

8. Updating Windows:

  • Lü runs on a Windows 10 computer. Every 2–3 months, update your computer.
  • Press the WIN key on the keyboard remote to open the taskbar, type “update,” and follow the prompts.
  • The system will need to restart after updates, which may take a few minutes.

9. System Update

  1. At least once a year, update the drivers and the BIOS. This article explains how to proceed with those updates.

10. System clean up

  1. We recommend cleaning Lü's equipment from accumulated dust at least once a year using a can of compressed air. Be careful not to push dust into the camera lenses.

11. Long-Term Inactivity Procedure for Lü System

  1. When your Lü system will not be in use for several days or weeks (e.g., during summer vacation), it is recommended that you turn off the circuit breaker on which Lü is installed. This procedure will protect your Lü from any electrical power surges in the event of a power failure.
Before turning off the breaker:
  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Turn off the projector.

When you return, allow time for system updates before using your Lü system.
